Small to Large Medals and Trophies

Find an Array of Medals and Trophies for All Price Ranges

Trophies and awards come in all shapes and sizes; this can depend on the sport or activity being undertaken or the size of the organisation. But whatever  you need a trophy for, there is one out there to suit everyone. However, people are often worried about price when it comes to awarding trophies, especially if they are part of a small or local club without a big budget. But there’s no need to be worried; Premier Trophies has a huge range of medals and trophies to suit all sizes and budgets. Here are a few of the different range of awards, from the small to the large.
Medals
A medal is usually the smallest and cheapest option when choosing an award, but that doesn’t mean that it is any less meaningful. Just think of the Olympics; every competitor wants to have the gold medal around their neck, and whatever sporting team you are purchasing awards for will be the same.
Medals can vary in price depending on weight, detailing and material. Also, they can be presented on a ribbon, which will cost a little more, or in a presentation box by itself. Medals can work out quite economical, however, be mindful of how many you need to buy; if you are going to award a medal to everyone who competes or is involved in your activity then this is going to up the price and you may want to go for a more affordable medal. On the other hand, if you are just giving out a gold, silver and bronze then you may want to have a little splurge and go for ones with great detailing or that are crafted from fine materials.
Mini Trophy
A mini trophy is a great alternative to a full-sized award, especially if you are on a budget as they are generally affordable. As the name suggests, a mini trophy is a small version of a large trophy and they are usually awarded as part of school programmes or children’s teams. They’re great if you need to purchase lots of awards as they are affordable but they still make the competitors feel good about their achievements.
Specific Sport Trophies
Trophies often depict specific sports, such as a football or golf clubs, and can be purchased for many different types of activities. Specific sport trophies are usually a little more expensive than generic sporting trophies but they provide a more special and thoughtful touch. Common sporting groups that have specific trophies are:

  • Golf
  • Cricket
  • Football
  • Tennis
  •   wimming
Plaques and Shields
This type of award is ideal for group sports as several names can be added to the plaque or shield. However, personal plaques can be bought as well; these are most often used for corporate achievements.
Plaques and shields range in price but tend to be more expensive than medals and other trophies. However, they are infused with a traditional feeling and make an excellent award that can be kept for a long time.
Cups
A cup trophy is perhaps one of the most iconic trophies around. Cups can range in size from the very small to the barely liftable. They make an excellent award, especially for team sports and are often used in football and rugby.
The larger cups are, obviously, more expensive but they are ideal if you are buying for a sporting club where the same cup is going to be awarded each year. This only means one purchase, so you may as well go for a good one!
